Laura Leger Guilbeau earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from LA College in Elementary Education and is a retired educator from the Avoyelles Parish School System after 24 years of service. She then became a licensed funeral director and was manager for four of the 15 years she was employed with Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Having decided on a career change, she became employed as the Administrative Assistant of our firm in October 2021. She enjoys reading, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
